Valdivieso Arbequina Estate
Arbequina olive oil is a variety of olive tree from Palestine, which arrived in Spain through the Duke of Medinaceli in the 17th century, and its name comes from the castle-palace where it was located in Arbeca (Catalonia).
Hacienda Valdivieso Arbequina is an olive juice with fruity notes and a very light spiciness and bitternessFor this reason, it can be considered harmoniously sweet, perfect for all types of palates and culinary preparations. Notes of banana and ripe apple, fresh artichoke, nuts such as almonds, and even aromatic herbs can also be appreciated.
Family dedicated to the cultivation of Arbequina olives from their own harvest, in the Guadalquivir valley, in the town of Lora del Rio.
In the kitchen
In its raw state, extra virgin arbequina olive oil is exquisite on toast and in salads, and in baking, it is an excellent alternative to butter, making baking healthier if this oil is used in muffins, sponge cakes, cookies and pastries.
