Coffee with olive oil
The American chain Starbucks presented Oileda new line of beverages that combines coffee Starbucks Arabica with extra virgin olive oil. “Starbucks coffee infused with extra virgin olive oil produced a rich, velvety texture, with the round, buttery flavors imparted by the olive oil in perfect harmony with the coffee’s sweet, chocolatey notes,” according to the North American company.
Starbucks will launch this range in its stores in Italy, including Oleato Caffè Latte, Oleato Iced Shaken Espresso and Oleato Golden Foam Cold Brew. The chain will also launch Oleato in select markets around the world, starting with Southern California in the US, Japan, the Middle East, and the UK.
Oleato represents the next coffee revolution, as it brings together an alchemy of nature's finest ingredients: Starbucks Arabica coffee beans and extra virgin olive oil, said Howard Schultz, Starbucks CEO.
The company noted that the continuous search for inspiration has revealed a family tradition that has existed for generations. in the regions of ItalyAdd a tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil to your coffee every day as a ritual. According to the American chain, the olives have been carefully selected to perfectly complement Starbucks coffee.
For her part, Amy Dilger, senior beverage developer at Starbucks, noted that “in developing this new line, we were inspired by the rich history and origins of coffee and extra virgin olive oil.
