La Oliva Roja Extra Virgin Olive Oil
The Red Olive is a Hojiblanca EVOO from the Serranía de Ronda, originating from century-old mountain olive treesnear the Sierra de las Nieves Natural Park. Its cultivation is traditional, dryland and non-mechanized, with manual handling and harvesting.
We use integrated production, without herbicides or pesticidesguaranteeing sustainable and ecological agriculture. The harvest is early. (mid-October to November) to achieve the maximum aromatic potencyThe extraction is always done cold.
In tasting, it offers a intense fruitiness of green olives with notes of grass, apple and tomato. It is elegant, with a balanced bitterness and spiciness, rich in polyphenols and oleic acid.
