AOVE Águra, a family business founded in 2012 by the Aguilar Segura family. We follow a very strict production method at every step of the process, from olive care to oil packaging, harvesting, and milling.
Our olive trees are found in Málaga, in the Humilladero region, where they were cultivated in traditional agriculture with integrated production. The quality of our olive oils is our top priority. The care of the complete process is what defines our Gourmet olive oil. Winners of various international awards such as Los Angeles (USA), Germany, Israel and Japan.
Águra, many generations
Grandma Maria was the first generation known to us to cultivate our olive trees. She was there when the trees were planted and from these trees we extract today our EVOO Olivos Centenarios. It is an oil rich in aroma and complex, smooth and light. Our grandfather Paco planted the second plot more than 60 years ago.
The second generation prospered there by the well from which we draw water today for the three plots. Like our EVOO Coupage Premium, this generation is stable, green, complex, of medium intensity, very aromatic and rich in nuances.
20 years ago, our parents planted the third generation of olive trees and we hope that the fifth generation will take over when they are touched and continue to care for the olive trees and the quality of ÁGURA’s extra virgin olive oil. This Extra Virgin olive oil deserves it!
Three possibilities for your kitchen
We understand that no two dishes are the same, so we present three types of olive oil. Picual gourmet oil if you are looking for a soft bitterness for your toasts, salads and vegetables. Another option is the sweet and fragrant centennial olive tree, extracted from our old olive trees inherited from our ancestors.
