Our EVOO preserves all its properties thanks to an innovative metallic container, keeping its unique flavor unalterable, as well as all its organoleptic properties. This packaging is opaque to protect it from light and easily recyclable.
140 years as olive growers
This makes us experts in the management of the olive grove and the process to produce an exceptional extra virgin olive oil. We are olive growers from Cordoba since 1876, the sixth generation dedicated to olive cultivation. In 2020 we launched our own brand, Oleo2, of limited production.
Obtaining a superior category Extra Virgin Oil requires careful care of all the factors involved, from the field, the process in the oil mill, storage, etc. Oleo2 is an oil of early harvest, with a very low acidity. As the olives are green, many more kilos are needed to obtain a liter of oil, but in return the quality of the oil shoots up.
Our oil comes exclusively from our family farm where we pamper the olives throughout the year until their optimum moment of maturity for harvesting. The olives are transferred to the oil mill a few hours after harvesting, thus avoiding their storage, heating or degradation.
We use new technologies to improve our production and we apply the amount of nutrients that each plant requires.
Recovery of biodiversity
Our olive groves are an oasis of biodiversity. That is why we never treat with herbicides or insecticides, we conserve the natural heritage that we have inherited with sustainable management, so that future generations can continue to enjoy quality oil and a natural environment full of life.
For example, we use green roofs in all of our olive groves to improve soil quality and to maintain biodiversity. However, maintenance of green roofs is much more expensive than a single herbicide application, as it requires more labor.
