Jacoliva Extra Virgin Oil
In 1868, in Pozuelo de Zarzón (CĆ”ceres – Extremadura), a traditional mill is operating as the beginning of a long history and evolution trajectory that continues to this day.
In 1894, Mr. Fernando Jacinto Soto Herrero, administrator of the family business at that time, decided to begin the production of oils for personal consumption, giving rise to this way at the birth of Jacoliva.
In 1970 Mr. Jacinto Corchero Moreno took over the business and decided to bet on innovation, providing the oil mill with the necessary modern means to complete the traditional elaboration and further enrich the quality of the oil produced.
Jacoliva Commitment
Throughout all these years, Jacoliva has known how to remain faithful to the commitments that have marked its trajectory:
- Attachment to the land and care for the environment
- Provide quality and service to farmers and customers
- Pamper the production of olives in the Region that has a variety, the Manzanilla CacereƱa, from which an exceptional oil is obtained
- Bet on the innovation-growth union
- To be a benchmark of quality in the sector
In its constant commitment to caring for the environment, in September 2007 Jacoliva inaugurated an innovative purification plant for the water from cleaning the olives and alpechĆn from the mill.
Thanks to this new purification system, the water used in the olive oil production process can be returned to the public channel or used for irrigation.
