La Maja Olive Oils
Producer of the highest quality extra virgin olive oil. It is a family business founded in 1997 that is dedicated to the cultivation, production and sale of extra virgin olive oil.
Thanks to the control of the entire production process, we obtain juices of exceptional quality in our Mendavia (Navarra) oil mill.
The main olive varieties grown are Arbequina, Arroniz, Arbosana, Koroneiki, Empeltre or Picual.
The harvest is fully mechanized, directly from the olive tree to the oil mill. We also select the plots according to ripeness and variety and collect the fruit directly from the tree.
By the time it is pressed, the olives can spoil, so it is important to extract the oil as quickly as possible. In the agriculture of La Maja, it takes no more than 12 hours from harvest to grinding.
