It is one of the largest and most prestigious olive oil competitions in Asia, organized in Tokyo by the Olive Oil Sommeliers Association of Japan (OSAJ). It attracts hundreds of extra virgin olive oils from more than 25 countries.

The main objective is to promote high-quality olive oil among the sophisticated Japanese public. An international panel of judges tastes the oils blind to award the coveted Premier, Gold, and Silver Medals.
