The “SIAL China Olive Oil Competition” is related to the China International Olive Oil Competition (Oil China Competition), a key event often held in conjunction with major food fairs such as SIAL China or IGO China. It is the most prestigious competition in the Asian market, held in Shanghai or Guangzhou.

Its mission is to promote the excellence of extra virgin olive oil and boost its consumption in China. An international jury evaluates the oils in categories such as intense, medium, or delicate fruitiness, awarding medals such as Gold, Silver, and Bronze Olive. Winners gain significant visibility among importers, distributors, and the Chinese public.
