La Oliva Roja Extra Virgin Olive Oil
La Oliva Roja is a Hojiblanca EVOO from the SerranÃa de Ronda region, sourced from centenary-old mountain olive trees near the Sierra de las Nieves Natural Park. It is cultivated using traditional, dry land, and non-mechanized methods, with manual handling and harvesting.
We use integrated production, without herbicides or pesticides, ensuring sustainable and organic agriculture. The harvest is early (mid-October to November) to achieve maximum aromatic power. Extraction is always cold.
On the palate, it offers an intense fruitiness of green olives with notes of grass, apple, and tomato. It is elegant, with a balanced bitterness and spiciness, rich in polyphenols and oleic acid.
