Fats can be good

Nutrigenomics specialist Iwona Rudkowska demystified the role of fats in health during the Eat Healthy and Live Green Expo. She emphasized that fats are essential for health, providing energy and essential nutrients such as vitamins A, D, E, and K, as well as adding flavor to food and prolonging the feeling of fullness. However, she warned about the negative effects of heating oils to high temperatures for frying, an aspect she wants to investigate further in her research.
