La Laguna Selecta is an Extra Virgin Olive Oil with quality certifications from the Regulatory Council of the Denomination of Origin Baena and Integrated Production.
It offers an exceptional “bouquet” of oil, a blend of different olive varieties, Picuda and Hojiblanca, from various estates. One of the keys lies in ensuring the olives are harvested at their optimal ripeness.
Our mills work in cold conditions, where oils from the first extraction are separated, preventing heat from altering their composition and final aromas. It is a fruity oil, with intensity depending on the maturity of the olive.
Additionally, our olive groves offer different olive varieties, with Picuda being the most characteristic of the area. However, in the PDO, we also have varieties like Hojiblanca, Picual, and Lechín, among others.
Lastly, the origin label guarantees that the extra virgin olive oil sent by our bottlers meets the quality and origin standards of the PDO Baena.
