Verde Íbero, 200ml gift for health and the senses. This is a Limited Edition of 1000 units from prime quality olives, sourced from the Sierra de Cazorla (Jaén). These fruits were harvested in the first days of October and the oil was cold-extracted.
An EVOO with great personality, fragrant, with positive attributes of bitterness, spiciness, and astringency that mellow over time. It also has a high content of monounsaturated oleic acid and natural antioxidants, polyphenols, and tocopherols.
A premium extra virgin olive oil obtained from a careful selection of the best olive trees, from the land of olives par excellence, Jaén. Additionally, through cold extraction, a novel system of cooling the olive and paste is used.
Why is it Beneficial to Cold-Extract Olive Oil?
Low temperatures reduce the oxidation rate of the paste, meaning that under equal conditions, cold-extracted oil has lower acidity. It’s notable that the lower the acidity of an extra virgin olive oil, the better the quality.
In fact, many dietitians and doctors recommend cold-pressed oil because it ensures that all its properties remain intact, guaranteeing an oil of the highest quality.
