DO Baena

The Extra Virgin (Virgen Extra) oils from DO Baena range in color from golden green to yellow, and are very fruity and complex. They present an intense aroma with notes of fresh grass, almond, and tomato. On the palate, they are harmonious and balanced, with a medium bitterness and an elegant and persistent pungency (spiciness). They are primarily made with the Picuda, Picual, and Hojiblanca varieties.
