Picudo extra virgin olive oil is a smooth and well-balanced juice, known for its unique sensory profile. Originating in the Subbética region of Córdoba, Spain, its name comes from the olive’s pointed shape. On the nose, it offers an intense green fruitiness with notes of apple, green almond, banana, and a touch of fresh herbs. On the palate, it is smooth and sweet at first, followed by a light bitterness and a pleasant, lingering spiciness. Although it is less stable than other varieties, its delicate flavor makes it ideal for eating raw.
