Aceite Alma Envero
Alma Envero, 100% Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Arbequina oil, and Picual oil, from early harvest and limited production, resulting from an exhaustive quality process. With an acidity of 0.15%, it has a high concentration of polyphenols and natural antioxidants. Also, thanks to the early harvest, our EVOO has a higher content of chlorophylls and herbaceous and fruity nuances.
Pure olive juice cultivated, harvested, and processed using traditional environmentally friendly methods, without using chemical fertilizers or herbicides. Thus, after the olives are harvested, we extract the olive juice cold at a temperature of 20ºC.
Family Tradition
As a result of a continued tradition that goes back four generations, we have inherited principles of integrity and commitment to the land, respecting environmental balance and natural heritage. Thus, the desire to create something of our own, Alma Envero is born from our love for the countryside and our will to produce the best Extra Virgin olive oil.
El Chopillo Estate
The estate is located near Sierra del Búho and Pantano del Cenajo, in the northwest of Murcia, in the heart of the Spanish east. It is a privileged location, blessed with a Mediterranean climate, protected from the wind, and with constant soil moisture that prevents water stress.
The traditional cultivation we follow contributes to maintaining the magical microclimate where our olive grove is located. The plantation has century-old olive trees and over three decades old of the Picual and Arbequina varieties. Thus, generation after generation has been captivating our time and senses.
Alma Envero’s Preservation Tips
We must always remember that olive oil is a living and fresh product, much like bread or cheese. Therefore, from the moment the olive leaves the tree, oxidation and/or fermentation processes begin. This is natural and is indeed why good EVOOs are milled just a few hours after the fruit is harvested.
That said, the main enemies of your Alma Envero are light, heat, and oxygen. We must keep the bottles in a cool, dark place and well-sealed. Consider that each time we open the bottle to serve ourselves, we renew the oxygen inside.
Therefore, once opened, it should be consumed within a couple of weeks. This is also why we should avoid large formats unless we have a large family or are a community. For the same reason, avoid oils on the shelves, as they are exposed to the store’s light for hours and days without mercy… 🙁
