Olive oil Vieiru
It comes from the heart of Sierra de Gata , in the Val de “Us Tres lugaris”. It is the result of a lot of effort, care and love during its production but it is also the result of a unique place.
Located in the cultural park Sierra de Gata, between the towns of Eljas, San Martín de Trevejo, and Valverde del Fresno. In fact, our location is no accident, we live to make the best extra virgin olive oil surrounded by olive trees.
It is a place with culture, tradition and its own language, border with Portugal, land of farmers and ranchers.
Thus, its geographical location has meant that its customs and culture have been maintained over time. In particular, this is the case of A Fala, a dialect typical of the area, preserved transmitted from generation to generation.
Vieiru Extra Virgin
The essence of Val de Xálima is the olive tree with hundreds of hectares dedicated to its cultivation. It is here where Almazara As Pontis we have our olive groves as well as the farmers who collaborate with us.
Specifically, these farmers dedicate themselves all year to caring for the trees with great patience and care. In particular, enduring the cold in the winter, during the harvesting season, and the heat the rest of the year, to cut, plow and prune the olive trees.
