Aceite Valdecuevas
El Pago de Valdecuevas, situated at 850 meters above sea level, houses an oil mill at the epicenter of a 150-hectare plantation. Here, the varieties of olives Arbequina, Manzanilla Cacereña, and Picual are cultivated. The altitude of this location ensures significant temperature variations between day and night, which enhances the aromatic quality of the fruits and endows the oil with unique and exquisite nuances.
We employ modern and stringent cultivation techniques, always with deep respect for the natural environment. The result is an exceptionally high-quality extra virgin olive oil (EVOO), cold-extracted from Arbequina olives exclusively grown at the Pago and using only green olives harvested at the start of the season. These olives are processed in their optimal organoleptic state using mechanical procedures, ensuring an oil enriched with higher levels of oleic acid and tocopherols (vitamin E) compared to the average for this variety.
The Pago de Valdecuevas oil is distinguished by its intense fragrance with vegetal notes and subtle hints of apple. On the palate, it offers a broad and complex experience, with a balanced and slight bitterness and a final spiciness. This oil is ideal for dressings, raw consumption, as well as in baking and chocolate making, being an essential component of the Mediterranean Diet.
At our company, we care for the olive groves with the utmost love and dedication, putting our soul into every process. This allows us to produce extra virgin olive oils considered among the best in the world, directly from the heart of Castilla. We combine patience and wisdom in each of our products, loving and respecting our land.
To maintain the quality of the oil, it is recommended to store it in a cool place (between 15ºC and 25ºC), and away from light and odors. Additionally, packaging is done only on order, ensuring its freshness and excellence.
