Hojiblanca olive oil is the third most produced in Spain, and highly sought after for its excellent flavor, also as a table olive. It is also an exclusive olive oil due to its difficult production and low yield.
When extracted as Extra Virgin Olive Oil, it has a pleasant and sweet flavor, with a slight bitter touch, and an intense green color. It is also one of the healthiest olive oils due, on one hand, to its high oleic acid content, which protects our heart and fights cholesterol. On the other hand, it is rich in polyphenols, natural antioxidants, which also give it a high resistance to oxidation, making it very suitable for cooking.
Let’s not forget its high content of vitamins E and K which protect our bones and promote proper blood clotting. Finally, it is also used for treating childhood asthma.
